By naming these features “multitasking”, Apple has set customers’ expectations to include what apps can do in a traditional computer multitasking environment.
It’s going to mislead people into expecting such behavior from apps, but we can’t actually deliver most of it.
A proposal to improve the shortcoming of iOS4's multitasking by the brilliant genius that brought you instapaper.

1Radio is a new app on the Apple iTunes store that allows you to play all Malaysian radio stations. Very simple to use. Also, the app is free. Check out the screenshots.

If you're a frequent traveller and have access to the iTunes store consider: Frommer's Travel Tools. This free app contains handy tools such as a tip calculators, unit and currency converters, a packing checklist, and a postcard maker - just to name a few. Have a look at the screenshots, I've uploaded it in order (left to right).
Not bad really.

Sprint's Overdrive creates a WiFi hotspot that allows nearby devices (such as an iPhone) to connect to Clear's 4G WiMAX network. I think that is absolutely cool (and may even save iPhone battery power).
Pair with a non-3G iPad anyone?

Media Prima launched an iPhone app to stream 3 of their radio stations over the air. It's a clear quality stream of 128kbs and it's streamed lived. The 3 stations are; Fly FM (English), Hot FM (Malay), and One FM (Chinese). There are a few quirks here and there but that's probably because the app hasn't gone through an aesthetics process yet - the app feels like it just came out from the developer oven.
My opinions on where it can improve;
Being a big consumer of streaming music, I have to say this is better than AMP's app and there's alot of potential for the MPB app to grow. Pretty cool if you ask me.

So Maxis has released a pretty neat app for Malaysian movie goers and it's available on the iTunes app store. The app will allow you to check showtimes, movie info, trailers, and even allow you to make a booking - only for TGV cinamas for now. Booking will open your safari browser, so it's not part of the app. Still useful nonetheless.
