My order of Evangelion 1.11 Special Edition blu-ray just arrived from Japan today. This is one of the two animes I watch and love. It's sheer masterpiece at the cost of RM80 with shipping.
This is basically a remake in HD of the popular mid-90's Neon Genesis Evangelion. Evangelion 2.0 is the latest and was shown at the cinemas a month back. It's not available on blu-ray yet.
This is a good 4-part video regarding the problems, limitations of broadband in Malaysia and how we compare to the US and Singapore. Apologies that the first and last videos are at a wrong orientation - I think the posterous system glitched there, I emailed them already.

Be careful about this store at the lower ground floor of One Utama, PJ. They sold to my friend a secondhand Audigy soundcard that was sold at 2007. Not only did they never apologise but the cashier had the audacity to tell it to my face that the sticker date on the card is a manufacturing date and not a sell date. I retorted, bullshit.
The box was dented, the card wasn't glossy, and there was usage rust at the sockets. Oh, the card didn't even work - no audio output.

After getting introduced to the X-Mini portable speakers by my colleague, Arsyan, I spent the next month just pondering if the value equaled the cost of the accessory. Rarely do I fall into the impulse buy trap, especially if it's geek gear.
After a month, I felt that it was a justified purchase. I could use it when I'm outdoors, in my bathroom, at Starbucks, etc. Heck, even when Im on my PC - so I didn't need to unplug my speakers and connect it to my iPhone. Also, I thought it would be great for my audiobook playbacks.
Boy, am I right. I went to the store and got the X-Mini Max 2 - the latest model by the Singaporean company. Lasting 14 hours, with great treble and average bass, it's indeed one good purchase at only RM179. Comes in 3 colours: dark red, black, and white. My audiobooks sounds better than ever, of course my music as well compared to the stock inbuilt speakers of the phone.
Just a precaution: the speaker comes with special cables, if one was to lose this cable, I don't think you can purchase a spare. I intend to write to the company and find out.
